if the wife cant handle some clicky keys, that marriage isnt strong to begin with. source: im divorced.
Got two out of the last deal (G12), one with click switches, one without. The clicky one feels like much higher quality even though other than the switches, they're identical. The non click ones are still loud, but they clack rather than click.
You can customize the lights via keyboard shortcuts and there are like 12 presets without using the software. I don't use the software since I have a Mac, but you can supposedly customize them further. They don't come with extra keycaps for Mac, but the keys are easily replaceable. They're the cheaper kind, but you can't expect more for the price.
The only thing I don't like is the cord is not detachable. Other than that, great starter mechanical.
Edit: the listing didn't label the color until I mentioned it. Before then, clicking on that link was a pink surprise.

That's the issue with these. A fair amount seems to stop working after awhile.
Heck, I have brown switches and coworkers complain.
