I picked this up last time it was this price, and ended up returning it, although my father-in-law kept his. I'm not sure if it's a difference in eyesight or distance from where you sit relative to the monitor, but I found the monitor to be heavily pixelated, and he seems fine with it. That said, the curve is wonderful, and I do miss that on the replacement 32" monitors that I picked up.
It's funny you wrote that because I have an educational discount account at B&H and they are out of all the reasonably priced monitors. I actually checked their first.

I think I've put someone's child through college by shopping with them.
I have 32 inch fhd curved monitor and the screen looks average. I will recommend the 27 inch.
I agree... at this low resolution, 27-inch is the max I would go, but unfortunately they are sold out of 27-in model. And I don't think they are stocking these at the store. I opted to go with the MSI model Costco has for 199. 27-inch 165Hz refresh at same resolution.

If you are not concerned about brand or store. You can try 4k monitor from Lenovo for around 200 with epp pricing

Curved monitors like this are only good when they're right in front of you. Wouldn't make a good display being off to the side.
Putting this monitor close in front of you is really going to make it noticeable that it's 1080p and you'll wish you went with 4K.
