I am a Civil Engineer and I did the math for you:

$1970 85" version cost 63.8 cents per square inch of screen
$1599 75" version cost 66.5 cents per square inch of screen
$970 65" version cost 53.7 cents per square inch of screen

Therefore, the 75" version is the worst choice and actually cost more than the 85" version when looking at cost per square inch of screen

FYI, the only time of the year costco does not price adjust is that week. Every year I ask just in case and corporate and my store manager said the same no price adjustment on BF prices. We start our BF prices the Friday before, the 20th.

Any written information on that anywhere? The official Costco.com Price Adjustment page doesn't list any exclusions from the 30 day adjustment policy for promotional prices from time of online order. Could this behave differently online vs in-store? it's listed as policy for costco.com orders.

Wow what an awesome deal. I just got the 75" for $1569 deal a few weeks ago and just mounted it this weekend. Wife would kill me if I tell her I want to take this down repack return and get an 85" and mount back up! Maybe we should all be waiting for BF as these things are dropping in price quickly.
