I am a Civil Engineer and I did the math for you:

$1970 85" version cost 63.8 cents per square inch of screen
$1599 75" version cost 66.5 cents per square inch of screen
$970 65" version cost 53.7 cents per square inch of screen

Therefore, the 75" version is the worst choice and actually cost more than the 85" version when looking at cost per square inch of screen

Rtings.com review: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/x900h (IMHO one of the best LED TV's out there)

Costco.com VS Costco Warehouses (physical stores)

Costco.com vs Costco Warehouses (physical stores) act as 2 different business units and will not price match if bought from the "other" store.

Costco.com

Costco.com Price Adjustment Page: https://customerservice.costco.co...l/a_id/628
30-day Price Adjustment
Multiple people have chatted/talked with customer support and have posted proof that orders will be price adjusted.
Multiple Costco.com orders even have the price adjustment already issued.
Free shipping

Costco Warehouses

Price adjustment seems to depend on the associate/store manager so YMMV.
The carton is a beast and DON'T LAY TV FLAT when transporting.

4K 120HZ Blur Issue

(11/13) Sony has acknowledged the blur issue and promised to address it: https://www.sony.com/electronics/...s/00254079
Here is the Sony support page: https://www.sony.com/electronics/...s/00254078

Hope this helps!

Hah. I also got the 75" on the 1570 sale. Wife saw me looking at this and gave me a hard no.

oh no. I bought 65 it was defective so I return and bought 75. now looks like I have to return 75 to get 85. I want 85 but I am feeling bad for return.
I bought and opened the 75 and want to trade up to the 85, but also feel bad returning a perfectly good TV. They really should have had the 85 at that price during the Prime Day sale, as I have a feeling a bunch of people who bought the 75 will do the same.

To me I see this as a holiday sale, not black Friday. So I reordered after I canceled the first time. Otherwise, can we just return if they don't honor??
I just canceled mine, don't think it's going to work.

The mailman/woman put it in my mailbox? I'll scan the full thing in a separate post and include picture of this page. I did try searching 'holiday20tvs' it mentions in the ad and it doesn't come up with anything... so I'm guessing they don't have it live. Looks like it includes BF sales.
I'll be damned, you are apparently the first one on the entire Internet to find this deal and post this booklet. Congrats! I'll have to eat my words that I didn't think this would go below $2469 for Black Friday.

The timing of this will allow me to buy a new one within my 90 day return window and then return it using the original receipt for $2469.

I may see if costco.com chat is willing to do an adjustment, but officially Costco.com price adjustments are only 30 days. Nothing however prevents me from returning for any reason within 90 days.

This TV is very buggy. I ended up returning 2 units because of buggy software, wifi, random shutoffs on both tvs.
I second that, very buggy. Shut off at least 3 or 4 times a day. WiFi would drop, and won't connect again until the power cable is unplugged. Worked great the first month, it started having problems a week ago, Costco will be picking it up this Thursday.

wow at this pricing it makes it better than a projector in this price range. The RTrings review mentions terrible off angle viewing, isn't that a problem for an 85inch TV?

The rest of review indicates its great.
I checked out this model at Costco and was viewing it on the sides from extreme angles to see what the rtings review was saying, I really didn't see a major difference. 85" TV is a beast though...make sure anyone considering this measures where you are going to put it.

costco chat confirmed that they can adjust the price once promotion is active
Cassidy W.: Promotions for Black Friday can be adjusted, they just have to be within the dates the promo is going on for.

Nice, never thought of that way.

Question for you: will it be a big difference between 82" and 85" or needed at least 92"?

I think you're right it's not BF. And to me they would honor it instead of taking it back the monster TV.

How does this compare to 86" LG UN8570 that'll be on sale for $1450?

Well that sucks, wonder if you just had a bad unit or something else? Obviously, if your experience was representative of everyone who bought this TV then this TV would be poorly rated and not have such high reviews everywhere online. Good thing with this Costco deal is 5 years of warranty or 7 years if you buy with your Costco Citi Visa card.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's just a bad unit. Returning my current tv, and will wait until the sale and will give in another try. At $1970, it's worth another shot.

Hmmm decisions, buy now and ask for price match or buy later and risk a sell out.

Going from a 82" to 85" is an increase of 7.45% screen area
Going from a 82" to 92" is an increase of 25.88% screen area

I also just got off a chat with Costco.com and was told there are no exclusion periods for price adjustments on online orders, including black friday, as long as the promotional price for the adjustment goes live within 30 days from order date. I specifically asked about my order for this TV today and an adjustment on 11/20 to the upcoming sale price of $1969.99 and was told it won't be a problem.

Per the rep the chat is now attached to my account and I saved a transcript with the reference number.

Until I see credible information to the contrary I'll keep my order.

This is issue with the recent 2.1 update last week. . Reddit is saying that it made the android TV buggy. Hopefully the next firmware fix the issue.

Any written information on that anywhere? The official Costco.com Price Adjustment page doesn't list any exclusions from the 30 day adjustment policy for promotional prices from time of online order. Could this behave differently online vs in-store? it's listed as policy for costco.com orders.
I was just at Costco and asked the sales rep if they would price match and she told yes.
