I ran into the same AVSforum thread yesterday night. There's also a rtings discussion thread on the topic of the 120hz blur issues on the X900H @ https://www.rtings.com/tv/discuss...z-blur-bug [rtings.com] .

This really concerns me. 4K 120 was a primary driver for me ordering this particular set. Planning to pair it with my Xbox Series X preorder.
4K@120Hz was a primary driver for me ordering this particular set. Without this gaming feature, I might as well buy the TCL R635 since it has better HDR performance, has VRR at 1440p@120Hz, and is cheaper than the X90CH

Just buy a second one at the beginning and set the date out. If they want to go the long route, just have them pick up the first one. If they adjust, cancel the second order.
Exactly, just buy on 11/20. Then either cancel the old one or see if they will price adjust. If no, cancel. Either way, you have some insurance incase there are stock issues.

I just spoke with the manager at my local Costco, which carries this tv. She at first said Black Friday deals can not be price matched (return rebuy as others have said). However she then pulled out the Holiday ad itself from behind the counter and started looking at the top of each page and said "nowhere does it say I can not price match on November 20 so yes we will price match". She gave me her name and said come back on the 20th and to buy the tv today.
I am curious if past years ad's have said in the print at the top that price matching is excluded?
how are you gonna get this home? i don't imagine it fits in most cars unless you have a truck..

They tend to do that when a product goes out of stock. The page will should back once its available again.

Ah okay cool thank you! My local costco down the street has the 85"s in stock right now. What's the consensus on buying now and getting a price match on Nov 20? Seems like it might be kind of a gamble based on what I'm reading? Or has a definitive answer been determined?

They will frequently do that for any hot upcoming sale items as well to make sure they have enough stock when it does go on sale.

Stand Width: Approx. 60 1/8 inch (1,527 mm)

https://www.sony.com/electronics/...ifications

Give or take a couple inches for the width of the legs as well.

I have a pickup truck available. If you don't have access to one you can rent one from Home Depot for $20 for an hour.
You also can rent a full size van from UHaul for the same price.
And yes the TV is massive to transport home - but it's set up now and beautiful as others have said!

If you care about 4k @ 120hz (which this TV claims to do), then do some more research before buying. There is a major issue right now where 4k @ 120hz content is blurry (versus 4k @ 60hz which is crisp). I bought it two weeks ago and am glad Costco has a 90 day return policy - if Sony does sort this out within the next 75 days or so, I'll probably be returning it.

Regarding the price match, worst case is you return the one you bought then re-buy it at the Nov 20 pricing.

Yeah I saw about the issues and have been researching them. I'm just struggling to find a good alternative at 85" at a similar price point. Do you have a suggestion? (Genuinely asking.)

As for returning, would that mean literally having to pack it back up and taking it back to the store to return and then re-buying it? Or will costco let me do it all via receipt? (I'm a brand new costco member so I don't know how they do things.)
