What am I doing wrong that I can't find the 85" version on Costco.com? I can only find the 75".

For costco purchases I always use Costco card except when discover gives 5% off online purchases. Even then I buy only $1500 worth of stuff in that quarter because of the discover limit. All else I use Costco card.

When it goes out of stock Costco removes the page. When it is in stock they restore the page.

Is it in the holiday savings flyer? A Costco customer service rep just told me that they will NOT be doing price adjustments on holiday savings prices.

Do you all have a Costco credit card or will use your regular card? I think with costco credit card only you will get 5 years warranty.
Sony upped their warranty for TVs sold by Costco to 5 years. The Costco Citi card will get you another 2 years, but it is through the card NOT Sony.

I got the 75" version from bestbuy on prime day. Seriously considering returning and upgrading to this 85". 2 questions, bestbuy's holiday return window should be active between now till the end of the year as I dont see anything excluding TVs from the extended return window. Can anyone verify tvs can be returned anytime between oct 13th and jan 2nd? Second I dont have a costco membership, I do have a sams card. Anything special about ordering from costco if the other stores end up matching price?

I used to work for Bestbuy, and if I remember correctly we do accept returns till the end of holiday return windows. However, I do advise you to chat or call them to be sure. Bestbuy is notoriously difficult to return when it comes to TV.

You can get a Costco membership for about $50, which I do recommend. Buying with Costco will give you 5 years warranty, despite what it says on the box. It will be better if you have the Costco Citi card, which will give you an extra 2 years.

Will the 75" be on sale too? I can't see the ad
Yes we just bought the 75 inch Sunday and it will be on sale 11/20 for $1569. But we were told you can't price match during a holiday sale. Others said just buy it again if your lucky to get one and return that with your $1769 receipt. I don't know we almost waited till the 20th but weren't sure we would get one. They had 9 at our store and I saw it normally sells for $2499 anyway so we went ahead and got it. We love it!

We joined Costco Sunday just for this TV. Sony has a new deal with Costco you get a 5 year warranty. Best Buy to get 3 years I think it was an extra 300 and something. Plus they said on the 2nd year Costco Concierge is included for a year along with Sony which covers more.

I would assume so. I did that with the 75. Bought day before sale started.
You bought it and then the next day it went on sale? They told me for Holiday sales no price match. And the reason their model is 90CH compared to Best Buy or others which is model 900 is probably a way so they don't have to price match others they will say it's a different model number.

Specifications @ bestbuy page says 105 lbs without stand and 130 lbs with stand. Where do you see 130 lbs?

just trying to be sure this will work with my current stand....
I don't know the exact weight, but I have the 85" and the stand (two pieces) is fairly heavy.

I'm still on the fence between this (larger screen, lower price) versus something like the LG 77" OLED.

I just recently moved, and prior to that I had a really, really big front projector screen (custom sized for Constant Image Height and maximized for 2.35:1 viewing), so I would normally lean towards the bigger the better. But with that old setup I also had a 50" TV for daytime/TV viewing and I'm actually a little worried that I won't like having a lot of regular TV viewing be on such a big screen. Do I really want to have my wife's QVC watching be in my face at 85"?

The 75" was the one from the other week, not a holiday sale so not sure. Lots of conflicting reports in this thread on price match for this sale.
