I have got both i4 and s5 max. I4 is a good robot vacuum. For price i4 is no brainer map house and clean well. Suction is good and battery life is great. Now Roborock s5 max maps house bit notch up gives you no zone selection and will mop. But i have carpet not too crazy about mopping feature. Battery life same as i4..but i4 you can add self emptying bin. 270 dollars on i4 vs 550 rr? I chose i4 i think these robotics vaccum should be at this price range
I4 is latest one just came out. Got one it is good...960 is older rev
Thanks! That helps 😀 did you consider T8+ ($450 at Bestbuy) ? Trying to figure out whether it's worth the extra money to get self empty bin, mopping, smart mapping etc

Read review .. features are excellent but material is cheap and breaks easily...like sensors on front ..i stick with Roomba at Costco because of return policy. Look depending on your needs and house setup you may need more expensive unit...got 3kidsno pets ..let roomba do upstairs while kids are downstairs .then do other way around...you would think it is a luxury but it becomes a nessasity ..i feel spending more than 300 on robotics is waste of hard earned money .. mechanical robots can go wrong anytime and not as easily to fix.. that's just me. Good luck let me what you decide.

Thanks for your response! What you said Makes sense. I also prefer Costco for easier returns. Leaning towards the roomba but thinking whether I would need specific room cleaning so that can schedule some rooms more frequently.

I4 has boundary small box that comes with it from Costco it is 55 dollars value . Acts as no zone but I just shot my door 🤣 easier and my robot maid do my cleaning. Hey google ask Maggie to vaccum! Noise level is good

So this boundary box looks like i4 specific? What else comes additional in the i4 package compared to the regular i3?
This is a great value at the under $300 price point. Plus you are supporting a great company. I picked one up assuming this is their black Friday price.
