Thanks OP! It was $440 last year during Black Friday so this is a good deal if you don't want to wait. I called Dyson to price match and they did it no problem (including the extra filter). Did this for warranty purposes.

You could always return if it's lower price during Black Friday 2020

Ugh. I just got it today, some new government compliance UL 1278 allegedly makes it impossible to control the heating function thru the app - my other Dyson from last year I can do this, but now thanks to this regulation I have a fancier unit with less features. FML. Kinda wanna return it now and buy the older model.

Actually same for me. Ordered on 10/30 showed an installment payment which ended up by accident so I switched it to a one time payment on the qvc site. Credit card had two payments pending. Today (11/3) charges were removed (never contacted them about it. Figured if they charged me twice I could contact them then).

QVC status never changed "In Process: Arrives by 11/05/2020*" Contacted via QVC chat and they have a estimated delivery date of 11/10/20. Asked for upgrade to expedited shipping and they said they couldn't do it and asked me to refresh the page to show the new status. They said the charges will show again once it's shipped and initial charge was just for authorization.. At least the order is not cancelled.

For those who price matched with dyson were you able to get the extra $10 off for being a new QVC member? Thats the only thing thats holding me from ordering direct from dyson.

I didn't ask Dyson to PM the extra $10 off because I assumed they wouldn't do. It's out of stock on QVC so no longer to PM on Dyson anyways.

It arrived on Sat and it's been great for heating and clearing the air when I cook

I just set up the HP04 today and found out about the restriction. Very disappointed. But before you go out there buying the HP02, do some research first because I found a thread elsewhere, posted 12 days ago, mentioning a HP02 purchased from Costco has this same restriction. Dyson responded to it with "Hello, the heating restriction is US legislation UL-1278 and applies to any movable heating source, in the US and manufactured after March 2019. As this is legislation we have to comply unfortunately. Thanks, Lyndsey - Dyson Connected Specialist"

Maybe you need an older version of the app or a Dyson manufactured before March 2019, or both. I dunno... I've turned off the auto-update for my HP02 for now (purchased from Costco in July).

So old. But buy an hp04 from outside the USA. It will be in Celsius but you have no restriction. At least my doesn't. Mercari, Craigslist, the bay, etc.
