Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank PK1307

I had a choice of either this or Samsung CU7000 or U690T (both 50% off too). Per my quick 15 min research holding onto this TV at the store this model of Sony is a better choice amongst the 3.

I have the 75" version, no local dimming but otherwise a great TV. Sony quality with the best image processing Google TV OS is fast and snappy

I checked two Targets for the Samsung 70" that said limited stock and they were both display models.

It's used in a very bright room,. No problems. Just know what you are getting - Sony's entry level television. I personally wouldn't use it for gaming or critical movie watching, but it's just fine for day to day viewing, it's used mostly by my 73 year old mother for watching the news and YouTube, streaming services

Is a display model worth it? Do we only get half of the lifetime?
