My storage pool is expanding! NAS is reporting the parity check is 45% complete. Probably two more days before it completes. Now, I just wait and watch...

ordered 3 (the limit) under my account. So far one cancellation already.
"Unfortunately, we had to cancel your order because it has exceeded our orderable quantity limits."

anyone else experienced the same?
How did you order 3? Or even 2? It wouldn't let me order more than 1.

Also, does anyone know if I can order another with the same credit card but mail it to a different address?

WD140EDFZ and a Corsair TX850 power supply...needs taped or molex adapter. Had a good adapter and 14TB drive is now running great! Moved some files over and already only 5.5TB left!

EDIT: Drive is runny 8 degrees C cooler when removed from that little plastic oven it comes inside.

For those who already got this, does this drive have any clicking sound when idle? I want to get this for the upcoming XBOX ONE series X just dont want a problem where it clicks when idle, want a drive to be silent when the console is off

Best deal of the year for me. I was able to to order 2 on the same order since I ordered early and before they restricted. UPS delivered two boxes today. Both boxes had the exact same UPS tracking #, same order # and each had two drives. I even checked my credit card....only one charge. Very nice Smilie

It shows up as a Samsung HD160JJ which is a 160GB drive. Looks like I got duped. How is that possible when to shipped straight from BestBuy?
I got my order shipped from a store in another state. I just got it today. I was able open the box from the bottom without too much distress to the box and take out the drive. I checked it and it has a 14TB drive.

Someone, in theory, can order this from BestBuy.com and swap the drive out, then taking it back to store to return it. However, My local BestBuy store asked for my driver's license when I returned a 12TB WD drive last time. The bad guy can still return it by mail by paying less than $10 return shipping and the swapped drive now goes back to a distribution center looks brand new and not been opened, the return center put it back to the inventory to ship to the next customer. There are no safe way unless WD pack the drive in those sealed plastic pack. You have to destroy the package to open it or this will continue to happen to all retailers.

In most, if not all, cases, CS associates at local store or return center see the top is sealed and they won't even bother to check the bottom of the package. They don't suspect an average Joe will swap out a drive.

Isn't there law forbidding return items sell as new? At best, BB can only sell it as open box.

That I do not know. But the open is "NOT" opened, right? It's not like Best Buy "knowingly" selling "OPENED" item as "NEW". I have seen return items from Costco, Walmart, Home Depot, and other retailers go back to the shelf when it's still sealed or not been opened. From my past experience, you can find many "opened" item at Home Depot. I think the law your are thinking is probably for things like underwear, personal care items, etc... If someone bought a laptop and never opens it and returns to Best Buy, I don't think they will sell it as "open item" unless it's been opened. Maybe that's one of the reasons Best Buy and other online retailers charge 15% restocking fee for returning opened items.

So you received a total of 4 drives? 4 for the price of 2? Wow! that's pretty lucky. I'm guessing that was a bug on their system.Or someone thought a single box contained only 1 drive so they shipped out two boxes.

When the deal was first posted you could order up to 5 in one order, showed up as 5 separate items in cart. They locked it down to 1 per order by the next morning. Says to switch to a business account for bulk ordering.
