don't get hung up by a single button. unless you want to pay $30 for a single button that you may not use so you can flex that you get a qc2, you are better off in buying qc1 at this price. BNIB as well

but if you still insist on getting qc2, then you can get a factory refurb qc2 for $150 from bose ebay, bose.com

so your choices are

1. new qc2 - $200
2. new qc1 - $170
3. refurb qc2 - $150

There are deals now for QC 35 ii for $199 at many retailers.

If you don't mind refurbished, Bose Outlet has QC 35 ii for $150.

Bose outlet has QC 35 ii for $200- original price of $350. Is there an additional coupon to bring the price down to $150 that you mentioned?

Also this Costco deal is original price of $270 down to $170. So these are not QC 35 ii

Seems Costco is carrying Bose QuietComfort 35 I while Bose QuietComfort 35 II is running promo at 199.99 on BestBuy [bestbuy.com]/Bose [bose.com]/Walmart [walmart.com]/Amazon [amazon.com]. There is trivial difference between the two versions and the Bose QuietComfort 35 II has built in alexa/google assistance.

I read that the noise cancellation on the 2s are slightly less than the 1s, but not obviously noticeable
