Purchased the deal from last week. Called to get a price match and told me I couldn't do it because it was bundled with some garbage antivirus software. Have to return and re-order. Gross.
Ridiculous comment. . .
Screen is too small for remote learning in my opinion.

$20 cheaper than frontpage deal 5 days ago. This is the price I paid for an open box excellent condition one at that time. I'm liking it so far.

Makes me think I should have waited instead of picking up an open box a few days ago.

Good finding, going to call in later for price match. I ordered one two days ago at $249.

Of course I bought it at $249.00 two days ago on Oct 27th. I am going to try to get a price match credit. I will go to the store. I am enjoying the Duet. It isn't perfect and I am still getting used to it. I need to learn more tips and tricks.

I think the $229 (128GB) is a better deal than the $204 (64GB) walmart deal a few days ago. I like the extra storage and that cool looking icy blue detail on top.

Very cool. This looks like it could possibly be used for our kids' distance learning. Anyone have personal experience on that front?

Most tablets and netbooks are fine for viewing content in remote learning. However, any multitasking usually means you have the remote lesson in the background while you work in another tab or app. At best you could do picture-in-picture with a small thumbnail size video of the online meeting in the corner.

Can anyone comment if this is to delicate for young ones on distance learning? Or should I opt for something a little sturdy

I bought it last Spring for this very reason. It's been great for the most part. My kids are young and the keyboard sometimes disconnects, or has a loose connection, and the switch from tablet mode to desktop mode sometimes confuses them (the way chrome shows the tabs is different). We sometimes have to reboot to get all the sound or touchscreen to work, but I do think that is because the tabs get missing or are on another desktop - user error more than hardware failure. I would advise on getting a stand though, as it is small and when propped up on the kickstand will have your child looking down, which is bad for posture. For 230, if your school uses google, it can't be beat. It's certainly better than the loaner laptops our schools are handing out.
