Good deal on a great laptop!
If you are like ME and are on the fence whether to get the G14 and M15, here are MY thoughts.
I bought the G14 a day ago, and now saw THIS deal and immediately bought the M15 because I saw:
240 HZ (compared to 120)
2070 (compared to 2060)
15.6 (compared to 14 inch) <---this one is a matter of preference.
extra ports and extra M.2 SSD slot.
BUUUUUUUT
I decided to cancel the M15 after some research and decided to just stick to the G14.
Here are a couple of PERSONAL reasons why:
The battery on the G14 lasts 2-4 hours longer on average.
*Personal Reason* I was looking more for productivity w a side of gaming and not vice versa!
Reaching 240HZ is not all that feasible on most games.
Build quality is better (M15 utilizes a lot more plastic)
That sleekness! (The design just feels more put together!)
To conclude:
If you want a nice ALL AROUND laptop that you can carry with ease and rely on its battery life AND OCCASIONALLY game on: Go with the G14!
If you want a more powerful gaming laptop with much faster response time and higher refresh rate: Go with the M15!
PS: If you are REALLY stuck on whether to get the G14 or the M15 and want a MUCH LONGER and DETAILED write up, I would suggest heading over to /u/Newyorkia's post on reddit comparing the two in great detail (He bought BOTH).
It covers drops and spills and they do a full replacement/credit I believe, not prorated
I'll probably go to best buy today and ask about the Dropping covering cus it can be sketchy with the cracked screens you know.. I really like the laptop on This post... Well is for my 11 years old kid.. So it needs a good ensurance...
Any idea how much faster the 2070 Max-Q on this one is compared to the 2060 Max-Q on the G14? Can't find many comparisons involving the 2060 on the G14 that runs at only 65W.

This 2070 runs at 90w and has Max Q dynamic boost that can take it up over 100w.

Historically, mobile GPUs don't show up until ~4 months after the desktop variants are out. So expect mid to late Q1'21
This has a 240hz, 350 nit+, 100% sRGB screen with a 3ms response time.
The G14 has a lot of ghosting because of the slow response time, and it is fairly dim by comparison.
