Apologies if this has already been posted here, but I didn't see it. I have seen these same phones trending here at higher prices. I have also seen a similar deal posted for Costco, but that one doesn't go live until late November.

Best Buy has dropped the price of the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE to just $350 (from $750), $14.58 per month, and the regular Samsung Galaxy S20 to $550 (from $1000), $22.91 per month, with 24-month Verizon Wireless device payment plan.

Unlike some of the other deals out there, this pricing DOES NOT appear to require bill credits distributed over 24 months -- it appears to be an upfront discount, immediately reducing the monthly price of the phone and eliminating any pre-payment penalties if paid off in less than 24 months.

This deal also does not require trade-in (though you can reduce the price further with trade-in).

This deal also does not require a new line of service (works for existing customer upgrades).

I cannot determine whether or not it requires plan changes or will work with any existing Verizon Wireless plan.

How can I make sure this isn't bill credits and can be paid off early without losing the discount? I don't want to be tied down for 2 years

Will Samsung price match this on their website? People on reddit say they will price match Amazon if you chat with a rep, wondering if they will match this too

Edit: so I just worked through this and am about to place order. Once you get to the agreement you can see that the phone's full price is $749 and there is a down payment being made of $400, so this is correct that this is not the monthly credit nonsense they try to use. Seems like a fantastic deal.

If this isn't using the bill-credits method, why do you have to pay sales tax on $749 full price when ordering?

These are the charges that will be added to your Verizon bill, plus any applicable taxes, fees or surcharges.
Samsung - Galaxy S20 FE 5G UW 128GB - Cloud Navy (Verizon)$14.58/mo.for 24 months
Tax on full retail price due at time of sale. Full Price: $749.99
Verizon Upgrade Fee$40.00
These amounts will be billed by Verizon and do not include your existing line or account charges, or fees, taxes and surcharges which can add between 7% and 46% to your bill. Except as follows, your current Verizon price plan and features will not be changed with this transaction. Each device added or upgraded to your account will incur a Monthly Line Access Fee which may vary based upon your contract or device payment enrollment. Those customers Upgrading with a 2-Yr contract who have an Unlimited Data package will be enrolled in the Verizon 2GB Data Plan for that line for $30/month. If you complete this transaction, Unlimited Data cannot be returned to your line of service.

Is it weird that when I sign in with my Verizon account it's telling me $0?

I've been due for an upgrade for about a couple months and it said that it was going to charge me $40 to upgrade yet I'm seeing Zero here but I'm sure I'll be slammed later for the $40 in my bill?

I'm just asking since I haven't gone through their website to upgrade my phone in maybe four or five years. 🤷🏽 ♂️

I offered to trade in my Note9..if that's the cause of the drop?

The $400 saving calculated per month in bracket... Means you get device discount over 24 month. Wasted my time looking at A51 which is free by same merit
