They just replaced these with the 'Beats Flex' which are WAY cheaper than the X used to be so I wouldn't recommend them.
The new Flex are $49 new, use the same chip but sound a little better, they auto-stop music when you snap the in-ear buds together (via magnets), have better battery life, have a reworked button design and a much better mic and use USB-C to charge. I would get the Flex for $10 more. (in fact I did, have both, really, REALLY like the flex.)
The new Beats Flex can be had for $50 as a FYI. They're the new version of the Beats X.
I don't get it... $39 is still cheaper than $45-$56 and it is from a reputed seller with b&m stores all over. Needless to say, returnable til Jan 2021 and confirmed manufacturer warranty plus CC warranty adds

It's $45-$56 on eBay, so while this isn't fantastic, it's still better than anything around

The sound is decent at the price. Better than what you would get out of standard Ear/AirPods. But I would recommend the Beats Fllex if it were me. The Beats X Fail rate were kind of high.

Thanks. Had no idea Beats Flex existed as a newer model.
