Same price at home depot right now brand new, not blem. I picked on up and it's heavier than I though, which is a good thing for stability.

It will be $99 a few more times this year from Home Depot. They do this every year with a lor of products.

I have this stand and it's okay. Heavy but stable. It uses cheap plastic for some knobs and caps though and they will break off easily though.

I think the $99 HD sale is once a year. If you missed it, I'd go for this. Factory blemished is new. It's just a way for DT to get around HD's rights to Ridgid.

Hey guys, is this necessary to work with a saw? Trying to be frugal during this pandemic. Thinking of getting for my spouse but watching my wallet that I dont spend too much. Appreciate advice. Thank you!

No, it's not necessary, you can place the saw on a table or on the ground if necessary.

It's just convenient for storage and easy transportaation and quick setup on the jobsite.

Not necessary but stands make work so much more convenient, accurate, and safe. Wheeled/rolling stands add extra portability for those who need it.

This was delivered a half hour ago and is much heavier and well built than I was expecting. I actually feel bad for the on-trac guy that carried it to the front porch.

Not at all!

I've been using my saw on the ground for years! The effect of being poor, which then went to being frugal (and already being used to it.)

I FINALLY just bought this earlier this week on the HD sale
