Sure thing. Just spread some rep if you can

Calibration was aiming for 6500K with gamma set to 2.2. So I calibrated with a brightness of 40, contrast 50, black boost 5. Color 2.2, color temp set to User, R Gain 48, G Gain 47, B Gain 47.

It's said you can adjust brightness without affecting the temperature or colors much. Rtings calibrates at 100 nits actually (for those that don't know).

Uploaded the .icm file and the DisplayCal report post-calibration.

I can try to calibrate again under the Warm color temperature setting. I think it should be more universal, and at 6600K it's already close to my target of 6500K. Just keep in mind the whole procedure takes roughly an hour, so give me a day or two if anyone is interested.

Slickdeals site doesn't allow me to upload .icm files, so I uploaded to Google Drive.

I looked into this and general consensus is that this WILL NOT work. Most Costco employees online are saying they are told not to honor price adjustments for Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals and sales for items purchased beforehand. Of course, you can risk it but there isn't any guarantee you will get the price adjusted (most said if the item goes out of stock, Costco will definitely not price adjust).

This deal is super tempting but I will play it safe and hold out to the 30th just in case a similar Dell monitor goes on sale.

Edit: also found out that even using the Costco Visa Rewards CC will not qualify your purchase for the price rewind. It only applies to other stores' prices, not to Costco.

I bought this one and the 35" LG one, This one is going back. washed out colors, wakeup lag to the point that I couldn't conform the settings I changed. also for whatever reason I can't get 3440x1440 out of the HDMI I had a use a USB C to HDMI adaptor.
I'm in the same boat with you, but the LG one actually is pretty poor in black levels. I bought mine for work, but if you put on a dark movie scene, you can't really mount out a lot of what's in the background. Besides that, I like looking at the LG one better for work.

Much better, definitely worth the additional $50, I have been using the Dell 34 with IPS panel but my wife wanted an Ultrawide monitor too. I'm trying out the LG one to see if I like it better than the Dell. I can say that the text ghosting on black background on VA panel is definitely a thing.
I'm starting to wonder if I want to just spend a little more and get a better one than the LG even given this is something I look at for a majority to fi my day, every day.

I got this and the lg 35" , both from Costco. Oobviously their shipping sucks but i digress

Anyway, got the acer in first, so bright, too bright. As many others have stated you have to tweak it a lot of not get a headache and feel "weird". It also on the reddish side. The speed and sync is great. When in games it looks great, but when browsing ans esp on white backgrounds it is overpowering. The morningd are worse, don't need coffee.

Anyway, 2 days later my LG came in. The one negative is it is only 105 Ghz (well 100 but I tweaked it),.It comes calibrated out of the box so I only made some minor changes. It also has a smaller curve, like 1800. But I can browse on it without feeling eye aches and other annoyances. The negative is it is a 95 brightness so not much higher to ho.

The HDR mode on the Acer is not good, no one will ever use whereas the HDR10 on the LG is more true HDR (HDR 10 spec).

So the bottom line is the Acer is being returned because although the features are better, I have to be on this daily. I am squinting right now just typing on this (I keep swapping back and forth to be sure). I still liked the speed and curve better though. But since with my ftx 3070 i rarely get above 110 FPS it is a nonissue). And Cyberpunk with rts at med only get 60 lol.

I might sell to a friend at cost too since the prices was so goo (LG $50 more)

If you look through the comment there were a few people like me who returned for same reason, and a couple who also have the same LG. Oh and the LG has an awesome stand and OCD).
I think I agree with you. I've got both set up on my desk and I like the LG one better for work. The stand is much better and can get taller.

I didn't have any plastic on mine either. No problems with display port for 144hz. Maybe check what version cable you have

I would test it out first. Seems like some people got really bad samples and some people got nice ones. Could just be difference in expectation but I feel like coil whine is pretty obvious.

Plus Costco returns are so hassle free even if you open and test it.
Just received my second one and can confirm this one is way better than the first I received. Out of the box text is legible, colors are much more accurate, I am not having any of the flashing / Freesync issues I was having with the first one.

Definitely some QC issues with this monitor and it is as bright as the sun but I am going to live with this version for a few days to see where I land. Thought this might be useful for people on the edge wondering if it is worth swapping vs a straight refund.

Interesting. I was wondering about this. I have tried a Lenovo 34" UW monitor earlier and didn't like that over the Dell S3220DGF. I am currently using this one trying to figure out. The 34" UW screen estate is awesome for productivity over the 32" QHD. Will see how it fares after a week or so. I have more uniform black levels compared to the 32" Dell monitor at least.

Got mine today. Not sure what to say. I don't get the whine, I hate the stand, but after using the LG for a good week, I find that this one hurts my eyes. No, no idea why. It's just unpleasant to look at.

Download the Acer Display Widget, you can change the setting that way.

oh you liked the acer compared to the lg? it seems that most monitors above this go for $1000 already.

Dang that's good to know. I might go for an exchange if that's the case. Should've just ordered a couple to begin with if I had know there would be so many different QC issues.

Color seems off. Would anyone who have calibrated their monitor list their settings?

No, sorry if I was unclear. I like the LG compared to my Acer, however, the LG is not necessarily ideal. Both of these monitors are on the cheaper end of the spectrum, so they both leave something to be desired. I suppose to make an apples to oranges comparison, neither is remotely close to my LG CX OLED TV. For work, I think the LG wins given it's easier on the eyes and has better colors. It's also an 1800R vs. 1500R (Acer), so the LG has less curvature, and given both are VA panels, the LG is flatter, and i find myself physically moving my head to look at the edges more than I did on the Acer.
