Things to consider:
**Best part about this deal is Costco warranty/return policies which is extremely lenient and customer-centric.
***Compared to Acer's own limited warranty policies for monitors, Acer products are "allowed" to meet a threshold/failure rate of less than or equal to 5 dead sub-pixels before qualifying for warranty as a defective product within the 3-year limited warranty period.[/B]

Pro-Tip:
People keep posting confusing comments..
1) You can order the monitor now for current price 2) Since this is online exclusive, you CANNOT get price adjustment in store (Store will simply ask u to return it). 3) To get price adjustment , you have to do it ON sale day (if this ever happens). Nov 30, ..goto Costco website, sign in and fill out the price adjustment form https://customerservice 4) From what I was told by CSR, as long as the item gets on sale (regardless of stock), Costco will honor the price adjustment (as long as it's filled out while promo is active in their system). 5) The difference will simply get credited back to the original form of payment. Hope this helps. |

According to a reply from this reddit post from last year, Cyber monday started at 12AM PST/3AM EST: https://www.reddit.com/r/Costco/comments/e4st4s/cyber_monday_start_time/. Unless this changed for this year, I would imagine it would be the same. If someone could confirm with a live representative, that would be great.

My gaming laptop has DP1.4 but my work laptop only has USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 w/ DP support (which I assume is DP1.2). If I connect this monitor to my work laptop, what will happen? 60hz? 100hz? No video image?

Yep, worked immediately when I plugged it in, make sure you're using a proper DP 1.4 cable (preferable VESA certified)

Yes, all freesync monitors work with G-Sync with a few customizations inside of NVIDIA control panel

Calibration was aiming for 6500K with gamma set to 2.2. So I calibrated with a brightness of 40, contrast 50, black boost 5. Color 2.2, color temp set to User, R Gain 48, G Gain 47, B Gain 47.
It's said you can adjust brightness without affecting the temperature or colors much. Rtings calibrates at 100 nits actually (for those that don't know).
Uploaded the .icm file and the DisplayCal report post-calibration.
I can try to calibrate again under the Warm color temperature setting. I think it should be more universal, and at 6600K it's already close to my target of 6500K. Just keep in mind the whole procedure takes roughly an hour, so give me a day or two if anyone is interested.
Slickdeals site doesn't allow me to upload .icm files, so I uploaded to Google Drive.

This deal is super tempting but I will play it safe and hold out to the 30th just in case a similar Dell monitor goes on sale.
Edit: also found out that even using the Costco Visa Rewards CC will not qualify your purchase for the price rewind. It only applies to other stores' prices, not to Costco.
