*Note - This is a Cyber Monday exclusive at Costco.com

Model Number: EI342CKR Pbmiippx

Screen Size: 34 in.

Things to consider:

**Best part about this deal is Costco warranty/return policies which is extremely lenient and customer-centric.

***Compared to Acer's own limited warranty policies for monitors, Acer products are "allowed" to meet a threshold/failure rate of less than or equal to 5 dead sub-pixels before qualifying for warranty as a defective product within the 3-year limited warranty period.[/B]
Manufacturer Monitor Warranty Policy - https://www.acer.com/ac/en/IN/content/dead-pixel

Pro-Tip:
Quote from Fragster :
People keep posting confusing comments..

1) You can order the monitor now for current price
2) Since this is online exclusive, you CANNOT get price adjustment in store (Store will simply ask u to return it).
3) To get price adjustment , you have to do it ON sale day (if this ever happens). Nov 30, ..goto Costco website, sign in and fill out the price adjustment form
https://customerservice.costco.co...com-orders

4) From what I was told by CSR, as long as the item gets on sale (regardless of stock), Costco will honor the price adjustment (as long as it's filled out while promo is active in their system).

5) The difference will simply get credited back to the original form of payment.

Hope this helps.

According to a reply from this reddit post from last year, Cyber monday started at 12AM PST/3AM EST: https://www.reddit.com/r/Costco/comments/e4st4s/cyber_monday_start_time/. Unless this changed for this year, I would imagine it would be the same. If someone could confirm with a live representative, that would be great.

My gaming laptop has DP1.4 but my work laptop only has USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 w/ DP support (which I assume is DP1.2). If I connect this monitor to my work laptop, what will happen? 60hz? 100hz? No video image?

It was 3AM EST

Yep, worked immediately when I plugged it in, make sure you're using a proper DP 1.4 cable (preferable VESA certified)

Yes, all freesync monitors work with G-Sync with a few customizations inside of NVIDIA control panel

Sure thing. Just spread some rep if you can Wink

Calibration was aiming for 6500K with gamma set to 2.2. So I calibrated with a brightness of 40, contrast 50, black boost 5. Color 2.2, color temp set to User, R Gain 48, G Gain 47, B Gain 47.

It's said you can adjust brightness without affecting the temperature or colors much. Rtings calibrates at 100 nits actually (for those that don't know).

Uploaded the .icm file and the DisplayCal report post-calibration.

I can try to calibrate again under the Warm color temperature setting. I think it should be more universal, and at 6600K it's already close to my target of 6500K. Just keep in mind the whole procedure takes roughly an hour, so give me a day or two if anyone is interested.

Slickdeals site doesn't allow me to upload .icm files, so I uploaded to Google Drive.

Order on Nov 1st so you can price adjust on Nov. 30th(Cyber Monday). 30 days for price adjustment for costco.com

I looked into this and general consensus is that this WILL NOT work. Most Costco employees online are saying they are told not to honor price adjustments for Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals and sales for items purchased beforehand. Of course, you can risk it but there isn't any guarantee you will get the price adjusted (most said if the item goes out of stock, Costco will definitely not price adjust).

This deal is super tempting but I will play it safe and hold out to the 30th just in case a similar Dell monitor goes on sale.

Edit: also found out that even using the Costco Visa Rewards CC will not qualify your purchase for the price rewind. It only applies to other stores' prices, not to Costco.

This seems like a great deal. Have there been better deals for a 1440p curved ultrawide?

This is the lowest I've seen in 2020. I actually bought the non-curved model of this about a month ago for $30 more. This is a steal.

Seems that way. There is a spec sheet on the Costco listing but I wasn't able to find the model direct from Acer's website.

This is a heckuva deal, currently sitting at $500 on Amazon. It's probably the best of the cheap 144hz ultrawides lately.

So based on the marketing, it would seem this one is a Costco exclusive model that launched just about the same time as the Nitro sister model. Original price point on this model was to retail at $599.

Looking for display to boost my productivity (I work with programming) but this seems a great deal. Would it also be a good match for a PS5 or better go 4K?
