Epic [epicgames.com] store has
Star Wars™: Squadrons for $19.99 when you apply the Epic $10 off coupon (should be in your account if you got it last time). For those who care, this will require both Origins and Epic clients on your PC to download and play the game.
Footnote says: AND DOWNLOAD, & INSTALLATION & BACKGROUND USE OF THE ORIGIN CLIENT SOFTWARE (origin.com/download) REQUIRED TO PLAY
GreenManGaming [greenmangaming.com] also has PC version of
Star Wars™: Squadrons for
$26.99. The redemption is through Origins (you'll have to login to origins via GMG to activate the digital key directly on your origins account)
For VR Users:
- Steam version of the game has some issues with native Oculus SDK (works fine with other VR headsets though). This particular Origins version and Epic store version works fine. I purchased GMG version 2 days back and it works great so far after certain optimization.
- EA also released a 1GB patch this weekend for the frame drops and frame locking at 60 in VR.
- You might still encounter certain hiccups depending on how your gaming rig is. I've followed this [reddit.com] and got a much better experience

Update: Epic links to your EA account and after that you only need Origin running to play.
Update 2: I was wrong, it starts up Origin and the Epic Games Launcher too, and of course Steam for VR. What a mess.

Seriously, just buy the Steam version. The controller you'll eventually throw through the window is going to cost a lot more than the $10 you can save at Epic.
