For limb cutting I use the reciprocating saw with a pruning blade. Works great. Of course, chainsaw has its own usage.

This is one of those things that pops up where I know I don't need it but for $99 I want it just in case I might need it.

Sadly, there is not a pole saw attachment. DeWalt sells a separate 20v pole saw

I have this saw. Used it all day Sunday cutting down cedar trees. Its super sharp and paired with a few 6 amp batteries it works great. The Dewalt pole saw is a separate tool.

Gosh darn it, I've avoided buying into another system for so long (been keeping my cordless tools mainly Ryobi, but with this and the high torque impact wrench, looks like I'm going to be adding Dewalt to the list.....

Any reason to get this over a 18V/20V Sawzall/Hackzall for tree work? I imagine the capacity this 20V chainsaw can cover similar applications.
