I could be wrong, but I don't think that's the exact same tv. They appear to have a different amount of local dimming zones

Sorry guys, I forgot to post it a couple of weeks ago but Costco had the "same TV" MQ7 for $349 + 15% cash card. So pretty much the same deal but it came with 3 year warranty (Or 5 if you bought it with their Visa).

If it's the same TV then I like it. 60hz native but is HDMI 2.1 and variable refresh rate. It's not like your getting a $2000 OLED but it works good enough for my needs.

It's not the same TV. Walmart one looks to have a much thicker bezel around the screen and less inputs. I think that is the same time I bought mine and it came with a 15% cash card as well so it really came to the same price.

A quick google search shows that 120 "motion rate" usually means a 60 Hz native refresh rate, quite unfortunate, especially for those in the market for a TV to pair with the new consoles

Thanks - forgot I did it with the 15% cash card!! so basically same price as Walmart, and you're right - this says MQ6 and Costco's is MQ7...also seems like there are a few differing specs

It's a 60hz panel. The P series has the 120hz panel.

This is a strip down version, with fewer dimming zones. but it does have hdmi 2.1. doesn't have 120hz input rate though so the hdmi 2.1 is useless. Wellll if you count 10bit 60hz , it's still possible, but i've not seen any tests as to whether that's actually supported.

Edit - found on their site that they don't PM...

Costco version is a m7. M6 are usually a Black Friday tv, not sure what they skim on it if anything.

And it shows in the Tech Specs. So, you're saying you talked to Vizio and they said 'Nah..'

Spoke with Vizio's online chat and was told no local dimming. Bought this tv Monday and will return by the end of the week. For those who go on Vizio's website to look up the specs, you have to click in the actual "specs" not just look at the general M-series information.
