I picked up the Korg B2 when it was on sale for $359 and $25 cash back. Have a stand. Already had keyboard amp, which makes a big difference when playing a less inexpensive keyboard due to lackluster onboard speakers. I like the B2 but I'm sure this piano has upgrades not seen in less expensive ones. I'm not willing to throw down a grand and I know the added accessories don't justify the price.

Anyone know which one is portable? I've been eyeing fp-90 for a while and I like that it can be easily removed from the stand to take to a party or concert. Can I do this with this one?

YES it's an object you can pick up. but NOT EASILY. These things are heavy as shit, and physically delicate. If you put it in a case, it's even Heavier. Big Grin

It's basically the same instrument but in different enclosure. That might affect the sound too..I picked the smaller one as it will fit better

I don't think you can remove these from the stand/enclosure

I'd argue the rp500 is prettier, and the lid is nicer and slides in..

But everything else is pretty much the same. laugh out loud

Is that worth $200..... mmmmmmm..... ask the wife.

Anyone know if the Roland RP-500 or the Kawai KDP110 is better? With the the Roland on sale, they are the same price. Looking to get one for my mom who is in her 70's that used to play a bit, but hasn't played in probably decades, as well as for my almost 5 year old to start learning on (we all live together). TIA!
