This is it guys, beats the Omen 15 deal from BB few months back.

EDIT: Direct comparison between this and the Omen 15:

Even the 1660Ti version seems to have better performance than the Omen 15 due to the option to disable Optimus, so this 2060 version should be even better in gaming.

Yes currently this is one of the best I've seen (most deals only last a couple hours to a day)- this is at least a top 3 laptop deal for the year. There's been quite a lot of choices under $1100 in the past 2 weeks. It's almost been a dream come true on deals for anyone in market to spend a little over $1000+.. The most powerful laptop was a Dell g7 17.3" RTX 2070 max P, as open box good condition from BB for around $1100ish. And Walmart had a bunch of choices,Asus zephrs15 Ryzen7 with RTX2060 for $1150. And The Msi GE75 17.3" RTX 2070 max p will be on sale from Costco on BF for $1199.99.
---------
Everyone needs to realize gaming laptops cannot get good battery life (eg. 6-9hrs), unless they are a Max Q variant, using less power, have large battery, and "you are not gaming of course", CPU is set to below 95 to 99 % without full turbo, and some undervolting, and you have to be on eco or balanced mode, so the RTX gpu is not being used during low power tasks, internet surfing, typing tasks. Of all the Sales, The Asus g14 is the only laptop I know of which gets greater than 6 hrs(up to 9+hrs) battery and still be able to play some games with it's RTX2060 max q. But it will not be as powerful as all the other RTX2060 max P full gpus.

seems like a pretty decent deal for the specs? no obvious flaws assuming the thermals aren't horrible?

Thermal is best around 1000. Neck to neck with Omen 15. I did thoroughly research on this. This is best laptop you can get at 1000

Can I expect 2060 card laptop to be cheaper on BF? I haven't seen any ad post a similar 2060 card that is cheaper. Is this the norm price?

Wait for another week or two. We are still debating who will be the president of the United States Big Grin

Watched some reviews mentioning 2070 thermal throttling problem for laptops. You might want to take a look at that.

Not to mention an inferior CPU as well and the $200 price difference. Nonetheless, a 15.6 and a 17.3 should not be directly compared.

Yea I saw them. That's the only concern I have. 17.3" is not a problem for me.

If you have access to TicketsatWork.com (employee discount program), it's $977.60. Will stack with RTM 7% CB?
