Yep for scalping!
Supply and demand. If they know people want their products, they gonna charge a higher price. Once the demand go down, so will the price. It's like Apple, charging over $1000 for their iPhones 11 pro and a year later if you try to trade it in, in perfect condition, they only give you $450 max. Before iPhones/Samsung phones were only $399 then it climbed to $499, then $699 now $999++.

No tbh. MSI is a big brand but have a reputation for poor customer service.

That's not the same at all. It would be like if there was a shortage of iPhones so Apple put their $1000 MSRP phones on their subsidiaries eBay store for $1500.

I'm looking for the best gaming PC deal under $1K for a Christmas present. I would prefer not to buy parts separately and assemble. Any opinions on this set up?

If you're looking for under $1k I would do thisSkytech Ryzen/2060 Super combo for $999 [bestbuy.com] - lesser known brand but faster gpu and I think a better CPU.
That said, if you're looking for Christmas, you still have 1.5 months left I'd wait I'm sure something else will pop up for sale....

I wouldn't buy that skytech pc wandl suggested, theres no intake fans based on what I've seen and even if the fans on top are intake there will be alot more dust that can enter the system. If there are no intake fans your basically killing the thermals on the pc. If you did decide to add fans to the front for intake the case is made will very little space for airflow so it wouldn't do much good anyway. If you want your pc to perform good and not die of heat, I suggest not getting that skytech pc.

I think the better deal was the CyberPc deals at Bestbuy this past weekend.

Their $999 system was water cooled with amd 3700x with rx 5700xt (8gb) and 1 TB ssd drive. And free WoW game as well.
