I have s20+ and thinking to try this but curve edge is scaring me.
Curved edge is fine, use a good case that your fingers can rest on. The display is fantastic, and the 12GB RAM + Snapdragon 865 makes this phone snappy.
Also, no bloatware on my phone direct from OnePlus. I've owned it for a month, and went from OxygenOS 10 to 11 (same as going from Android 10 to 11).
I think edges are hard for fat people to use, that's the only thing that makes sense. I've owned the S8, S9, N8, N10, 7 Pro and Moto Edge. The curves have yet to bother me, but that could be due to my skinny hands.
That's an incredibly poor assumption. Edge detection is pretty bad on OnePlus phones. They have yet to learn how to deal with it.
Don't believe me? Put your finger on the very edge of the bezel and slide your finger up and down. You'll see the page scroll. That's something they really need to work on.
Aside from the edge detection, this is a pretty good deal. The OnePlus phone that FINALLY "never settles".
Do they make regular cases for this phone as well? Meaning ones that don't have the cut out part for the edge screen? I just bought a Moto Edge and while I don't mind the screen nor use the Edge part, I hate the case that came with it. It's cut out where the edge of the "edge part" of the screen is and drives me nuts holding it.
I'd just rather use a regular case and not even bother using/looking at the edge part of the screen.
seems like a very good deal, but I'm waiting for them to come up with a better bundle with the free wireless charger. BTW, how's the factory clear case that came with the phone? is it good to avoid the curve edge accidental touch issue?

Isnt the s20+ curved edge too? My Note 20 Ultra is and i thought they were similar? Its not bad on mine actually. Its sometimes requires slightly more delicate touch on edge but also sometimes helps me to see edge notification lights while its face down or an edge clock while im in bed looking at it on my nightstand. On my Note 8, it seemed to make it tough as a tank in drops and stuff but ive already cracked this one so i guess thats just luck of the draw. Tho to be fair, it did survive several extreme falls onto concrete without a scratch before finally submitting to my relentless clumbsyness. Some people just shouldn't own nice things

I am using a speck case with grippy back. Pretty happy with it.
