So 15.6 inch version? Apparently all manufacturers are trying to equip 15.6 versions with 45 watt processors and dedicated graphics while there is nothing with 15-25w processor without graphics. Only lowend devices.

MSI Summit E14 and E15 which will be launched in December. But if you ask my opinion, Intel U series Processors, even Tiger Lake, with dedicated powerful Graphics like GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q, does not really make much sense. Most of these Laptops are targeted towards Professional works like Video and Photo Editing, demanding tasks and Intel's 4 Core Processors don't really fare well on those tasks.
Fantastic device if you don't need anything too powerful. Great screen brightness and screen quality, battery life, design, port selection and the specs are very good as well. Looks like the perfect windows travel laptop.
Thinking about pairing this with an eGPU. 11th series Intel seems like a good bump from 10. Only thing I am worried about is CPU heat throttling while gaming

That Quad Core Processor will be a bottleneck if you use powerful GPU due to the thermal power and heat generation. Asus has started opting their 13 and 14 inch ZenBooks for silent and balanced operations than high performance mode, for both Intel and AMD variants. So, during gaming, it will not heat up much since it will throttle the CPU to 12W to 14W TDP but that will cause serious frame drops in gaming.

While I'm glad to see it has Thunderbolt support, unlike the scads of Ryzen laptops out there, I'm not sure that "Iris Xe graphics" are a huge selling point. Integrated graphics? I don't see any dedicated graphics memory, just shared DDR4 RAM? How is the driver support? Will Intel's graphics card venture end up like Optane?
The rest of the specs are unremarkable. 300-nit displays are unremarkable. This thing isn't a screaming deal for $999. Unless you're really excited about a touchpad doubling as a number pad.

This model does not have the 1W 400 Nits display. Check the Question Answer section where Asus Rep has confirmed that.
