Thanks for the post, op.

My son and I both bought element 55" 4k smart tvs 5 years ago (Black Friday). We bought extended warranties at Costco and glad we did. The backlights both started failing and we ended up getting Vizio's as replacements. Just saying....extended warranties are pretty inexpensive.

Besides $100 or so, how does this compare to that Walmart 65(?) inch 4K TV from two nights ago?

I'm probably keeping the Walmart one with warranty, but I'm hoping it's not terrible. I only really want a big screen for sitting back on the couch and watching videos on YouTube or paid sites for programming, math, etc. I don't think I'm really a quality snob, as long as it works.

I'm nervous about the return policy etc if I take it out of the box & it doesn't work or something... Google seems to say if you keep the receipt & return without a certain amount of days, you'll be fine though

Sorry for my vague question but still I appreciate you replied. I am already using in built Roku tv. but sometimes I see Roku TV vs Smart Roku TV. I personally think however both are same.

I looked at both side by side in store. Bought the Element. The Hisense made reds look pink and colors seemed dull. It's for my parents so it didn't need to be top of the line. Just my opinion too.
