Has to be a price mistake but I'm gonna roll the dice. If it works on mint it's likely unlocked, or at worst locked to T-Mobile which is not an issue for me. (I have owned T-Mobile SIM locked devices in the past and they work just fine on any T-Mobile MVNO).

Edit: It did ship so we'll see how it goes!

Pretty sure they just updated the description, this wasn't in the script 10 min ago. "Phone must be activated with a Mint Mobile plan within 45 days of purchase"

I don't think you have to because it's unlocked and you pay in full already.

I read that as in order to get your free 3 months with Mint you have to go to them in 45 days, but if this is unlocked, I don't see how they can force you to go anywhere.

Well if they have the phones they probably record to IMEIs, my question is if it's an unlocked phone they wouldn't be able to flag the IMEI for anything.
