A similar 40% discount deal was a frontpage deal twice, but this one's an unprecedented 50% off, thanks to the pandemic! Use code
EXCLUSIVE for grabbing discounted items directly from the designer's website!
Offer valid until Nov 11, 3 AM EST.
Note: This promotion was made public by Armani at 12 AM ET on Nov 7.
The promo code listed earlier, VIP50, was an early-access code that was valid from Nov 6. It's still valid but use the promo code EXCLUSIVE instead.
Example deals (as mentioned, these are just examples):
Armani Code Absolu [giorgioarmanibeauty-usa.com] (110 ml) - $58.5
Acqua Di Gio Profumo [giorgioarmanibeauty-usa.com](75 ml) - $50

The Black Friday promotion has usually been 20% off sitewide, so even the Armani Prive series fragrances are discounted. However, this year, it might even be 25% or 30% sitewide (a little improbable, but I did get a 30% discount on Profondo in September). Anyway, the products discounted in this 50% discount promotion are likely to be discounted 50% again.
As for why they went for the unprecedented 50% discount this time around, I've a hunch - Sephora's having its Bi-annual sale & Rouge members get 20% off. For the first time, you can now buy discounted Sephora gift cards from some third-parties at 20% off (and I did!), and get a 36% net-discount even on new Armani Beauty products such as AdG Profondo, plus Chanel & Dior, which are otherwise rarely discounted. So, Armani Beauty might've given this discount to :
1. Beat competition - Make customers incentivize Armani Beauty over the likes of Chanel or Dior, and other competitors, which are currently being discounted both at Sephora & Macy's.
2. Better customer-retention - once customers begin to like a fragrance, they're likely to buy it again. Give customers good-enough discounts & they're likely to buy your product again, and not your competitor's product.
3. Beat Sephora to boost up direct-sale margins for Armani Beauty products that Sephora currently lacks a high-volume in its inventory, and would've had to source from Armani Beauty.
4. New customer onboarding - Get people who use department-store colognes on (at least the entry-level) Armani Beauty bandwagon. Because of weaker sales during the pandemic, Armani Beauty needs new customers, as people would probably have to wear masks until mid-2021, and are otherwise unlikely to buy fragrances with weak projection.
