I bought one of these during the last sale for $969. it is a phenomenal TV for me. i don't game, just watch movies and stream YouTube videos.

Haven't heard if Amazon or Costco will be running the same price. I plan on getting another one for the bedroom. I called Best Buy and asked if I buy now ($1399) if they would refund the difference during their black Friday sale. they said no. does anyone have any experience to the contrary?

Found any great prices on the 55 inch version? the 65 is just too big for where I plan to put it

The 55 and 65 were on sale about 21 days ago. I would wait for black Friday. As it stands the Tv is sold out alot of places or appears to be in Stock only to be cancelled. Personally.

They had the 950G for $998 on Amazon back in September. I grabbed one then and it says it's eligible for returns up to January.

That's a great deal. I'm trying to get a 75 and 85, and would love to find a good deal on the 950x in those sizes. It's just that much better picture quality than the 900, but almost 50% price increase

Would this be a good tv for someone that mainly wants to stream live tv/sports/movies in the immediate future, but would want a PS5 in a year or 2 and not want another TV for another 5-6 years?

Not really. The 55 was discounted for like 5o bucks, which was like 50 bucks less than the 65 on sale. I didn't have any space either, but losing 10 inches for same price... I got the 65 and just forced it to fit in my room lol

Deeply tempting but the issues with blur at 120 has me thinking that next black friday might be when gaming TVs for next get really hot their stride. I'd rather wait.
