I bought one of these during the last sale for $969. it is a phenomenal TV for me. i don't game, just watch movies and stream YouTube videos.

Haven't heard if Amazon or Costco will be running the same price. I plan on getting another one for the bedroom. I called Best Buy and asked if I buy now ($1399) if they would refund the difference during their black Friday sale. they said no. does anyone have any experience to the contrary?

Ordered and got confirmation. Could have driven 40 min one way for pickup but chose free delivery. Gives me a week to wait and see what costco does. The $200 for the geek squad protection was lame. I'll by a 3 year plan on amazon that starts after the first year. Only $100.

Which warranty on Amazon is that? If it's the Saurions, it has to be purchased within 30 days of tv purchases and it starts on the same day as the manufacturer warranty (so there is an overlap between manuf and Saurions warranty coverage)

Yeah, it shows as $999 for me now. When I ordered, it said $969. Either they changed it or the website is having issues.

Just went live at Costco . 969 w/5 year warranty. Price is good until 11/28 (or stock runs out I suppose)
