You can't complain about a product if you are using it incorrectly. You are not supposed to remove the bowl without removing the beater first, on a bowl-lift mixer; you pull the beater off, set it into the bowl, then remove the bowl. Bowl-lift models are more powerful and more stable than tilt-heads, while tilt-heads are more convenient. Whichever of those qualities you need/want more, get that one.

I'm with this guy. All you lazy people and your "technology". I mix all my dough by hand. But while we're on the subject, I also hate all you people and your "automobiles". Sure, i have to wake up 3 hours earlier to walk to work and get there in time... but it's better than being lazy and driving!
