just got back from my lowes and at the lumber exit there was a huge cardboard box were you put your old bucket and there was stacks of the blue lowes buckets ...i saw no lids
Not really. Grassroots marketing can be very powerful and those buckets probably cost then less than $0.50 each. Give those away to people who already have buckets advertising their competitor can do a lot from a subliminal and emotional connection standpoint.

Kudos to Lowes.
I'll jump on this. I've got a 5 gallon buckets from Firehouse subs that smells like pickles. Wonder if they'll accept that 😁

Used competitor bucket?

I am guessing this means HD, Harbor Freight, Tractor Trailer, or Ace?

Not for tools, but it's kept me from buying a 5 gallon bucket from them. it might depend on who's working the customer service counter

Sweet! I just grabbed 2 HD buckets from my last dump run. I knew I should have grabbed the 3rd from the pile!

I wonder what are they going to do with the buckets collected. Will they end up in the landfill or getting recycled? Either way, it's a waste of resources and not environmental friendly. I hope I am wrong.
