Costco's laptop is the Raider, this one is the Leopard. The specs are similar but the Raider has better cooling system, more RGB lighting, and it easier to upgrade. If you're on the fence, the Costco one is the better buy.

Excellent deal. I wish I could get in on this, but I had purchased the original MSI Costco Slickdeal from back in July. From what I saw on a YT vid, the step up to the 2070 from the 2060 results in somewhere around 10% to 20% increase in frame rates depending on the game.

The only people I would warn off this laptop are those who have to move their laptop a lot or need to operate off battery regularly; it's got a nice big beautiful screen but it doesn't last long on battery and it's pretty hefty to move around. If you need something more portable, wait for the next deal on the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 (unless you need a built in webcam, or you need a bigger screen or you can't deal with 8GB being soldered).

With these increment changes that's why it's worth going 4-6 years before upgrading.. more time to recoup the investment.

This is pretty much similar to the unit I mentioned on another laptop for $600 on eBay. The only difference is mine has 32gb of Ram. The only thing I've used it for was to play Ark and the frame rate was decent for how Ark performs.
