NewEgg would not accept my before-30-day return so I had to contact Westinghouse directly. It has been a nightmare dealing with their support staff. They have not been very helpful or knowledgeable. It has been over a month since I sent them my monitor for repair. I asked for an update last week and got none.
If I could go back in time, I would save my money for a better brand.

Anamorphic movies in 21:9 will have no bars
Most notable off the top of my head is dragon's dogma and the elder scrolls series (oblivion, skyrim). They all require mods to stretch to 3440x1440, and usually there are still a handful of issues.

Yeah older game support is hit or miss. Newer stuff from AAA is pretty consistent as 21:9 is a common aspect ratio for gaming.
