$10 off list at Walmart not amazing but this matches the usual Costco price (OOS).

This thing starting show it's age, it stutters between apps now, you can't play graphic intense apps like Asphalt 8 smoothly anymore.

Apple is sitting on their new one. I doubt we'll see it this year given we're already mid-November but here's to hoping it comes out next year.

Yeah I was hoping they would announce the new one during today's 'One more thing" event but they didn't.
In for 1 and I'll sell it once the new one comes out.

I am all in apple but this apple tv is the only one i cant adopt in my home electronic system. I use an Nvidia Shield Pro which is a power house for things I want to do. Unfortunately, that is also my only android system that I have to be up-to-date with.

Bummer! I don't play games on mine (I just use it for streaming services), but my Apple TV performs a million times better than my Roku 4k Ultra. Way more responsive and much better UI.

I couldn't resist but to look into your signature - while the electronics deals are understandable, I myself had rare amazing price errors in electronics, but how the &^%$ you managed to get those new cars at those prices?
Car deals:
2016 || New Genesis G80 - $7,600
2018 || New Jaguar F-Type S - $19,000
2019 || New BMW 5-series - $17,000

How well does it work as a 4K media player and Airplay endpoint?

My LG TVs Airplay is useless.

It's great as 4K streaming device with every app very polished, I would say the best streaming device, although I have yet to try the New Chromecast. But casting only works from apple devices, and casting is not as good as chromecast, it has it's own hiccups, having said that I believe it has the most number of apps available on it's appstore than any other streaming device. I love the remote, though it's very polarizing remote, the touchpad is one of the greatest things on a remote.

We have been using Apple TVs since 2nd generation upgrading to new one the same month a new one comes out. Just like many other streaming devices you can control your TV using Apple TV's remote via HDMI CEC, where in you can turn off your TV, change sound volume on your TV or your receiver, very good Bluethooth transmitter for bluetooth headphones.

Once you use Apple TV you will never go back to those sloppily made TV OS and TV apps that come with TVs, I have LG OLED, I never use the Web OS.

I hack luxury and sports cars, so these are lease hacks. The numbers are the total lease costs over 3-4 year agreements. I list them that way since saying "$200/mo" could be seen as deceptive since it doesn't account for other costs like a down payment, taxes, etc. If you want more info just PM me so we don't derail the thread Smilie

Just switched from roku ultra 4K and I can barely use roku on other TVs anymore it feels so laggy and outdated compared to ATV

Which is why i keep refusing to buy it. It being under $100 that time means it's not a good deal unless it goes down close to that again. I am not going to pay double the price of what itw as on another deal. If it were say $120 maybe I would, but not this much above the $90 sale price.
