Word of warning - I discovered this after not driving for a few weeks during the pandemic early days - if you have parking mode set up (you have to tap into an "always on" and an "only on when car is on" fuse) - you can drain your battery, even if you have the voltage block thing set up.

after reading their policy i no longer want it through any reseller. if this was anker or rovpower i wouldn't think twice i know i pay 10% for product 90% for customer service and that 10% worth of product is actually good quality (generally speaking, compared to other low end brands), but this.... arghhh no way! not even if amazon has extended return. i just don't want to deal with this company.
my garmin mini draws 1A (1000mA). Battery is rovpower 15,000mA. i'd say 12-15 hours. depending on other conditions like temperature. this viofo draws 3A i think, so you'd need a powerbank that can output at least 3+A. I'd get more than 3A capable battery. My garmin doesn't detect parking mode without hardwire kit so it just records as usual. this viofo may work the same way. only detects power mode when hardwired. i'm not sure.
Yi and Anker will have much better firmware support.
If you think that Viofo's own website providing OTHER CUSTOMERS DATA and crashing doesn't forecast software quality issues, then go buy it.
Do you have any experience with Rexing?

In for a Viofo A129 Pro Duo for $200. Thank you to the OP. I've been waiting for this deal since June. Back in June, Amazon and, I think, Blackboxmycar followed suit. As of now, only Viofo is offering this deal. No sales tax saves money, though.
I had no issues with the website as of 1:30 PM MST.
I'm guessing that WheelaDealer above works for Blackvue or Thinkware. ;-)

To anyone waiting to pull the trigger, this is probably the best cam under $300. Does it have problems? Of course but those problems are worse with anker, aukey, yi. If you wanna know what issues each of these dash cams have, sort the Amazon reviews by 3 stars.

These do get hot so use endurance or other hearty microsd

I'm feeling very tempted on going with this one for $80 instead of the Viofo.

Although this one looks like was literally put together by a group of highschool students on their spare time. PC software is located on github, tech support email is a @hotmail.com address, and there is no website to be found. But real 4k camera with rear camera included for $80 sounds super tempting jejejeje. Oh man, buy shady product from Amazon for cheap and with actual free return refund policy or the more popular Viofo one from shady data leaking website for $200.
