I'm feeling very tempted on going with this one for $80 instead of the Viofo.

Although this one looks like was literally put together by a group of highschool students on their spare time. PC software is located on github, tech support email is a @hotmail.com address, and there is no website to be found. But real 4k camera with rear camera included for $80 sounds super tempting jejejeje. Oh man, buy shady product from Amazon for cheap and with actual free return refund policy or the more popular Viofo one from shady data leaking website for $200. LMAOLMAOLMAO
I'm unaware of their data leak. Can you please provide a link?

Not a data BREACH, but folks here were able to see others SDers' orders today.

You mean the one with 25% fake reviews and zero track record? https://reviewmeta.com/amazon/B08GC88JBH

By the way, the long-in-the-tooth Aukey DR02d is still a solid dual unit IF you wait to get it on a deep discount. 2 year warranty.

Wow, hopefully they're aware and fixed it.

I bought 2 of the viofo A119 V1 in 2016 and they both still work perfect today with daily use. The defect with the power pins in the GPS mount was a problem 2 years in but plugging the usb directly to the dash cam worked around it.

I personally wouldn't buy directly from viofo. I would wait and see if there are better BF deals from reputable merchants who offer returns in case of defects.

It's garbage firmware. Errors, corruption, poorly documented settings, you name it. It's absolutely insane to pay over $35 for this. But you know how Slickdealers love their garbage gadgets.
Looks like Viofo competitor sellers are out in force with racially tinged propaganda. Don't listen to this fool. These are great, hardware is solid, and there is a great community making custom firmware. Because of that, people know very well what hardware or firmware issues there might be, much more than for any other cam.

I have been using same A119 V1 since 2016, I was also having the same problem with GPS mount but works fine if I connect it to camera directly. I never had any problems with their cameras. So decided to buy new A119 Pro single cam because I wanted a 4k dashcam with WiFi.

yeah I felt like these are troll accounts run by their competitors. There are some popular dashcam channels consider Viofo as very reputable and reliable brand. I have been using their camera over four years, I never had any problems with them.

I was being sarcastic, it has some good specs and supposedly 3 year warranty but agree that it look super suspicios.

Successfully placed an order just now.

In case it may help others, I used an Amex premium card that has an extended return policy of 90 days to provide some peace of mind.

I myself own a Viofo. I provided secondary sources, and explained my position in multiple ways. People have already described MAJOR SECURITY BREACHES on the Viofo's website-- including the disclosure of private customer data to other customers.

Buyer. Beware.

in this price range you won't get true 4k. there are even cheaper "4k" cams lol. also after 1 year and 30 days this seller won't be around or will sell under a different name. good luck reaching the seller for warranty. happened to me with a different item.
