There seem to be an inch and a half bezel on the bottom side of the laptop. Or am I seeing it wrong?

It's Tongfang, they make well regarded laptops for a lot of SIs with very good cooling. This one looks like a very similar layout to the Overpowered laptop that I (and a lot of other SDers) got about two years ago. That one was an i7 8750H with a GTX 1060 and a 144hz screen for about $800.

This one seems to have the Webcam at the extreme bottom of the screen, which is not very flattering if you plan to use it for video calls. The battery life is also not going to be great, but comparable with other gaming models. Other than that, as long as you add an 8gb stick of RAM for dual channel (or just buy a 16gb kit while RAM is cheap now) then this will be a great all around laptop for the price.

Does it have any space for additional memory?

Gateway 2000... vowed to use its army of 2,500 telemarketers to find out all it can about the customers who buy its custom-made personal computers.

What's the modern day version of an army of 2,500 telemarketers?

Great deal, but with this and other, similar deals popping up, just remember that if you buy an i5 processor, you're probably limiting yourself for the future since 4-core processors like those are rapidly becoming outdated and I think that's why we're seeing so many i5 laptops go on sale. I'd much rather wait a couple weeks and spend $799 on the Asus TUF laptop Best Buy has going on sale on the 22nd with an RTX 2060 and a Ryzen 7-4800H 8-core processor. It'll treat you well longer, making it worth the price different.

If you're gonna get a laptop with an i5, you might as well save money and buy one with a slightly less flashy GPU since you're not really getting the full performance out of it anyway.

Edit: For those asking:

This one will be on sale for $799 according to their Black Friday ad, which you can see here:

Does this manufacturer specifically say that opening the case voids the warranty? HP, Dell and Lenovo all allow opening of the case to make upgrades without voiding the warranty.
There seems to be a sticker on one of the screw saying if you remove it, it will void the warranty.

This is an interesting one. Looks like the same chassis as the (what I can assume to be now defunct Walmart brand) OverPowered OP-LP2. I bought one on release to try out and loved it so much I kept it.

On one hand, this seems like a killer deal for the specs as it stands. On the other hand, I feel like the OverPowered may have been better value for money with an i7 and 16 GB of RAM at $799. It had a 1060 which arguably compares to the 1660 but there was no RTX at the time.

I have to say though, I tried a lot of laptops over the past couple of months, up to a $3k Razer Blade 15 with OLED. All got returned and I came back to my trusty Walmart laptop. Maybe there's something wrong with me. Maybe it's that good.

Would you mind linking the Asus that you mentioned? Thanks
