Can't decide what to do here. If I only get the gc from sam's it's more hassle than it's worth as you are still spending $45 to get a $45 item. if the discover deal for sure stacks, it would be wroth it because free membership AND free coupon/gc.

Too bad they aren't as quick as amex giving credits where we will know if it worked.

I am probably just going to do the regular membership in order to get the discover statement credit. I don't think it's worth doing both offers at the same time.

I'm betting the stack didn't work for me. I did the $45 off when checking out (actually just redeemed the other day and worked without issue).

Today, I got an email from discover that says, "[Name] you've activated your offer—now just sign up for Sam's Club."

I'm going to try customer service and see what happens.

Edit: customer service said, "This email is just a reminder email. You can expect this offer within the next to billing statements.... We can confirm that your account is eligible for offer and that you made a $45 purchase with Sam's Club on 11/17. Since you confirmed that it was for the membership, you will receive that $45 statement credit within the next 1-2 billing cycles."

So I guess I'll see. No biggie either way.

Customer Service said it would take 3 billing cycles for credit to post. I should know within 2 weeks, and report back.
