So I can either sell it (which I am sure I could get above the $200 net I paid for it, including the case) or just return it back to Samsung unopened -- but can i still cancel for real that I accepted their cancel offer?
It's weird that Samsung bumped my total before discounts to $674. The phone is $599 to begin with and I didn't include any accessories (it did say I'm getting $50 credit to spend within 35 days). Here's the final totals:
Subtotal $673.99
Shipping FREE
Taxes (estimated) $26.42
Reward Points -$0.49
TOTAL $90.92
Total Savings $609.00
Edit: So, to clarify, this deal boils down to:
1) Sale price without trade in: $375
2) SLICKDEALS100 coupon takes another $100 off = $275
3) Your trade in value. In my case, iPhone 7 = -$210 so I am at $65
4) BLACKFRIDAY50REV simply bumps the $30 free Samsung credit up to $50. It gives no additional discount (even though you see a $50 discount listed).
Add to that your rk cb (extra $40 referral if u can make it work) and 5% chase cb through PayPal. Also 10% cancel trick if you can make it work.
Pretty slick. I don't need it but have an iPhone 7 lying around so I might as well get a spare phone in case mine broke.
