For me, $400 is a definitely worth the hassle, imma put in there 2 x 1k from my stock trading acct, and changed my work DD as well to be safe. Then leave 2k sit there til receive that Cha Ching to be safe...$400 return on 2k investment is still out of this world boys...

Don't advice people to close their accounts without even trying to get it fixed. If they did, not only they would miss on this easy money, they'd also be barred from any future Capital One 360 bonuses at least for the next 2 years (typical cooldown on bank account bonuses) without even getting anything back for it.

That being said, I'm not going to go through the effort of setting up direct deposit and then having to call next year only to confirm that I have been duped. This is not my first rodeo, I would rather cancel the account so that Capital One sees that this ploy was ineffective with me. I have been through the stupidity with promos like this before.
Go ahead and waste your time, I don't plan on contacting these clowns again. Especially not to get put through the ringer trying to get them to make good on a promotion that they obviously want to avoid paying out...
