I logged into my account, only to be stuck at another identify verification screen, which failed because my phone number "wasn't linked" to my name, which is absurd, considering I've had the same number for over a decade.
One last phone call to close the disaster of an account. They insist on sending me a check for $0 to close the account. Insanity.

I know nothing about Robinhood accounts... can you open it and just put cash in it, and then transfer it out?

I also linked my 360 checking to my TD Ameritrade account and they deposited two small transactions for security purposes, these show as "Appears on statement as: Deposit from TD AMERITRADE ACH MICRO"

I didn't enter the code. I used Firefox, but I've read that Chrome would have autopopulated it. I called and the rep said it wasn't applied to my account, but she said she would make a note on my account, and that I could call back in February, and they would be able to make a manual exception.
Dont know if it will work, but that's what happened to me.

Based on what I'm reading in your post, it sounds like you dont have it applied on your initial account. Dont know why the rep told you to open another account, because I'm pretty sure that doesn't work... from what I've read, it will only work on the first account you open.
