update. just to add to this after doing the Zelle transfer i called CO back up and asked if it was possible to talk to Connie, and he told me call centers dont work that way but that he can check the notes on my account, and He confirmed my transfer from Zelle and also confirmed that it will work as a DD towards the offer. Now im not sure if its because of the note on my acct or not but just to make sure i recommend calling and asking.

Yes capital one rep her name was Connie put me on hold for a few mins then came back on after talking to her manager and asked me ir i ever used Zelle before. she told me it would count as long as you have 2 separate zelle accts. like i said on BOA i signed up with zelle using phone # and on capital one app i signed up to Zelle using my email address.

im assuming yes, from what i was told by 2 different reps from CO as long as its not from same zelle acct. best advice is to call CO and ask them if Zelle would work, that way they will make a note on your account saying you were told it would work.

All you can do is call them so they will add a note on your account. They will tell you to call back in a few months to try and get the bonus.
I think one person said that the rep added the bonus to their account, but most just say that they will add a note on the account and tell you to call back.
