I was able to do exactly the above with $100 last week on Robinhood, now I can't do it with $900 (or any amount). They say it has been their rules all along. WTF?

Yeah that wasn't the rule before. I wasted my time transferring only to put it back on my original bank.
I had the money to put it in there but my bank is a major Bank player and I can't see transfer the money from that bank of sending it in there wouldn't be considered direct deposit it makes no sense but they said PayPal business card business accounts would be considered direct deposits.
Well unless you did work for Uber Eats doordash Postmates GrubHub and you worked the week and you made $1,000 that would be considered a direct deposit but basically you're running a business.

If you want to play it safe, do payroll or one of the banks reported to work in the past DoC thread. Otherwise, no one else is going to be able to tell you definitively whether your transfer from Bank A or Bank B counts automatically for the bonus.

Thanks .. been active on this thread since day 1 .. kind of become part time habit to go through all pages .. you are right .. to play it safe getting the account credit through payroll is the right option .. going ahead with that now unless something changes and we see new info pouring in

too bad their marketing dept can't get with their software mgmt and team to implement this stuff..

I had called to make sure my BONUS400 was valid, they said it was.. but then I think the CSR gave me incorrect info. She was trying to state I needed at least 2 deposits of $1k each.. which I knew was incorrect. Too bad the CSR industry has such high turnover .. so they always have to train new employees on this stuff all the time (or not train haha).
