Others have replied how to do it. I'll just chime in to say that it is one of the best ways to protect yourself. Free and easy and is more effective than some credit monitoring services.

Yes, I have the Walmart Capital One credit card account already.
Yes, I will need to check my employer to see if they can do that. If yes, possible another free $400.
For me I'm my own employer (side business) and have direct deposit so I just changed the account and waited 2 pay cycles and then changed to my wife's account. Went through without an issue, both times, so Capital 1 didn't block because names don't match. Just because they didn't block mine doesn't mean they won't block another, keep that in mind in case you are relying on that money since you might have a delay if something goes wrong.
