generally for full frame 85mm or 105 mm is best for portraits. I would go for 85mm. I have it for Nikon.

Yes people do get excited for these deals, some of this is pro gear, top of the line equipment in the Sony mirrorless system. It is not just for Pro shooters but enthusiasts as well. Photography can be an expensive hobby, but not different from many others. People drop tens of thousands on cars, wheels, tires, radios, wraps etc. How about phones, people "need" to have the latest phone, and keep paying over and over for incremental increases just to have the new one. Enough of a rant, it comes down to where ever you want to focus your spend.

Purchased A7III with lens last week from Adorama using student pricing for $1678. It is now $1568. I have requested for a price difference refund. Hope they honor it. Otherwise, I will have to return and rebuy.
