Just an FYI, this was posted yesterday on reddit:

Mint mobile agent just told me that tomorrow will be a Black Friday sale for new members of buy 3 months get 3 free... But the device you're using cannot have been active on Mint Mobile for 91 days. So even if you order a new SIM or phone number it's the device you are using that will determine if you are eligible for the sale price.

So if you are using google voice and renewing with a new number the discount might not work.
Unlimited Data: Unlimited means speeds will be reduced to a max of 128Kbps after >35GB/mo. or use of GB allotment for the remainder of the billing cycle. 1 month equals 30 days. Partial megabytes rounded up. Unlimited on handset and network only
Don't forget to stack it with referral code 😉

Mint also supports e sims for new sign ups so those wanting to use it on esim look out for that option when checking out. It's in the shipping option page

Yes it will show up as free 3 months within 24-48 hours of your activation. You will also get an email confirming it
But would I be locked into 3 free months of 12GB, or could I downgrade to use that $75 of credit for 5 free months of the 3GB plan at $15 per month?

i.e. Pay $75 for 3 months of 12 GB then get $75 credit for 5 months of 3GB service = $75 for 8 months of Mint service

No sure about that. On mine it just says three months added. I think though that you can upgrade the plan but not downgrade

How are you guys talking about referral links and all on this forum?
I thought SD mods hate referral sharing and punish those who still share referrals?

Hmm it's odd I don't see that option.

Have you used their esim option? It's no different than activating a physical sim right?

Yes I am using esim. You need to click on the activation link on their email (or scan QR code) which installs their esim profile. Entire process took less than 5 mins.

Was going to do that but looks like they changed their system so only option now is 3 add'l months of same plan you purchased.

ARRRGGGG.. I bit and I found something on the check out. The 3 month + 3 free month deal for $45 also comes with taxes and a recovery fee.. In my case the total is $52.

Now I do or did pay some $1.12 Tax fee for my $9 unlimited talk/text 512gb Tello plan, but it seems a little harsh.. Any one know more about these "fees"?

My total for the 3 month plan was around $52 as well.

These taxes and regulatory fees are pretty normal for both prepaid and postpaid plans.

You can offset the cost with cb and referrals.

The "Recovery Fee" is a smidge over 10% for me so $4.88. Click on the "info" circle and it gives you a run down. Pretty much a BS fee but it doesn't bother me. I see no reason to nickel and dime them to death especially during these times. This deal is excellent and even better when combined with cashback and the referral money for the next order if I stay with them.

I did this last time and it worked.
Curious as to how this would work since you didn't actually purchase while using the cashback link? You just visited the site with the cashback code. I can see getting the referral money since you purchased while using that link.

Only ask because I just purchased but nothing about my purchase from the cashback site. Oh well not the end of the world.

Not sure, but I think the cb works via session tracking.
