I probably pay this much in rent a year after all utilities. If kids were free, wifi was decent and the visa restrictions lifted id try to make this work. Id have to pack allot of ramen for lunch and dinner tho. Food is probably super expensive out there!

Better bring a suitcase full of protein bars...the food bill for even a month there will be scary.

If you have 30K on hand for this you should have the couple hundred to go down to the immigration office and get a visa that says whatever you want it to say.

Interesting deal.

Breakfast is included, so there's that - bring a big bag and pack lunch and dinner I guess.

You can get longer VISAs, it just so happens you get a 30 day one automagically at the airport:

A valid passport [state.gov], along with an onward/return ticket and sufficient funds, is required for entry. A no-cost visitor visa valid for 30 days is issued upon arrival.

The Department of Immigration and Emigration routinely approves requests for extension of stays up to 90 days for travelers who present evidence of sufficient funds and who stay in a resort or hotel or present a letter from a local sponsor. Anyone staying more than 60 days without proper authorization faces heavy fines and deportation.

Arrival by private boat: Travelers arriving by private yacht or boat are granted no-cost visas, usually valid until the expected date of departure.

Also, I suppose you could get a 90 day visa then just leave the country and come back, book the cheapest flight out of country?

Prob with vacations is eventually they get boring as fack and u just wanna get back into the 8hr job grind and dealing with family and crap.

I took a 4 week vacation last year to Fiji Islands and literally lived in Paradise for a month. 1st week was like living in heaven. 2nd week started to get boring and even lying on the beach after sipping your 4th cocktail at 10am starts to rub off. 3rd week, u run out of things to do and your mind starts wandering all over the place. Now u start thinking of work, Netflix, what show Amazon Prime has, etc..and friends and the comfort of your own house/bed.

4th week....u start counting the hours when u are back in your own house and talking to friends/families and waiting for your homies to stop by so yall can finish that bottle of Scotch.

Two people.... so i go for 90 days and then swap with someone else for the next 90 and so on. So we each get two 90 day stints for $15k? And at breakfast we claim, hey, we paid for double occupancy, so i get two breakfasts... get one in a doggie bag for lunch... ramen and fish i catch for dinner. I think ive got it figured out. Now I just have to explain to the wife and kids that daddy has two long work trips this year....
