1. So Target charges only $80 first and the $20 when they send the egc?
2. Can you use Apple gc to pay for taxes also? looking at $1950 for a macbook pro.

Re: Taxes - Yep, you can use the gift card to pay for taxes. I bough 12 of these and picked up a new student discount M1 MacBook Air with AppleCare+ and paid $1200 in gift cards and $12 out of pocket.

Yep - I bought 12 using my Target Red Card (saving 4%, good enough lol) in 12 separate orders from the same account. Worked fine. Just annoying.

6 email confirmations still pending ... I used two different credit cards, but all with the same email account. It looks like they might be holding me to their stated 6 card limit on orders,

still have not received any Apple gift cards or any target gift cards

I might use another email account to order six more and see if that works to get to my total of 12

Update ... just opened a new target account with different email ... purchased 6 GC at 12:45pst ...

5 min later I'm getting cancellation emails

BTW ... I used multiple CCs and made single GC purchases 1 at a time

I know people have been able to order multiple using the same account and credit card - but those people ordered earlier or last night. Anyone ordering now getting cancellations?

I got my apple gift card but not the target 20$ card. Does it come in a separate email? or is it added to my account?

Nobody can answer this but you. You know how do you use your usage.
I had a 256GB iPhone 11 Pro and dropped down to a 128GB iPhone 12 Pro. Really depends on your usage. For me anything 64GB is fine - I always just have this thought that all of the sudden I'm going to start taking tons of photos/videos with each new model and it never happens hah. 128GB is finally a reasonable starting point vs the 16GB/32GB days. At 16/32GB I find my older Apple devices (all iCloud enabled) start asking me to look for ways to offload apps or whatever to optimize storage so 128GB feels like a comfortable amount of padding for me.

I got all 12 of mine on one account with no issues. Just took a few hours for the gift cards to show up no big deal.

Ordered 10 x $100 cards in separate transactions. So far order 2-5 have been cancelled, but I suspect payment issue (fraud alert). Order 1-5 were done on a Chase card an order 6-10 on an Amex.

Don't have time to contact the CC issuer, so I reordered 4 more on a different credit card. Will see how it goes. At least it looks like order #1 (the first one) went through.

FWIW, I took about 1h for the cancellation email to come through after I placed the order.
Well so far nothin received yet. I ordered a total of 15 (Top replenish the 5 that were cancelled using a different credit card) and those were cancelled pretty much within one hour.

So far 6/15 orders are still outstanding, but nothing received yet. the first orders were placed at 9AM....

I made a spreadsheet to keep track of order numbers, which ones were cancelled and which are will pending.

Same CC that has been saved to my account and used before. Remaining 6 orders I have not received the gift cards yet.
